I've always had the best Chinese food in the city at Fountain. I heartily recommend.

Bloody awful is all I have to say. Had I not been so hungry I would have sent it back and left. Overpriced, lack of serving, quality is lacking........would not recommend to anyone.

I try the sweet and sour pork! Then telephone ring. Who is calling me at this hour?!?!! It is Betty. She hear noise outside apartment. I tell her it okay and I come and check it out Okay? I put the sweet and sour pork in the car. As I turn on engine I feel great. The great feeling is from the smell of the sweet and sour pork. I begin to get hungry and forget about Betty. 4.6/5 good food. good price. I feel great.

the service there is so-so. the food there is also a hit and miss. i think it is due to the high turn over rate of staff there.
for most of the staff there have troubles understanding the english language.

the food here is okay but the service is quite weak !! last time a friend and i were there late morning (1 am) for a quick bite , it took over 30 minutes to get our food but only to find that they didnt have that particular dish so we had to order again...10 minutes later, they came back and said that they did have it but we had already changed our mind and just settled for soup !! i think they are sleeping on the job and i wonder what the owners think ..if they even think about those things ! gonna try thier dim sum today and i hope it taste good !

Fountain restaurant the food is very poor !

I have had a number of bad experiances lately with this restaurant, they don't answer their telephones quickly, they don't have voicemail on their phone or any way for people to get their hours of operation without actually going to the store door. the food took 45 minutes for me to get one personal lunch order, after I had phoned in advance and was told it would be 10 minutes!, don't go there unless you have a lot of time to wait and are a very patient person. the food is good but the service is terrible!

food is good, but where is the on line menu

I have eaten at this place several times mostly because I work nights and it's one of the few places open late. However it's food is at best 2nd rate and after midnight the quality continues to deteriorate and I deeply suspect that the food being served is the same stuff prepared for their lunch buffet. Each time I eat there I know there is a 50-50 chance it'll make me sick to the stomach. It's a crap shoot. They're open late and that is handy, beyond that though if you have the option of eating else where then do so. I would also encourage you to avoid Raymonds, I think it's the same owners and the quality is also the same 50-50 crap shoot. There is a place near the London Drugs on Quadra who's name I forget that is much better and out in Sidney there is the Good Fortune. I would recomend both places first. I hear there is a good place in Esquimalt but have no first hand knowledge.

Fountain chinese food is awesome, and it's open 'till 3am... what beats that?
