The Blue Carrot has closed and is now Chef Suzi in the Square Cafe and Catering, the menu has changed some what, and the food is from scratch unless it's and already made item such as the Halibut burger, which is a breaded patty made out of halibut and them quick frozen. All soups any specials are made from raw ingredients. It's very clean and the staff are all nice and friendly...

Great soup and sandwiches!!!! Good prices and the chocolate cake is sensational.

I have always had good service and good food at affordable prices I highly recommend this cafe. I am sorry to see the negative comment but there are 2 sides to every story.

I went in to order breakfast, and told the woman behind the till I'd changed my mind because of her rude and unprofessional behaviour. I do not recommend this cafe, unless you don't mind poor service quality.

Soups! Sandwiches ! CAKES! WOW!

My first visit a few weeks ago, I literally swooned over the Smoked Salmon Bisque - Marisa knows how to stir up soup! The daily soups are all original recipes - inventive and delicious. Then to top it off, I was blown away by the crispy fresh lettuce and other veggies stuffed into the wraps. Baked goodies are amazing, prices are very reasonable, in summary WOW! Now, I'm a regular.

This is a great locally owned cafe. The ambiance is casual yet chic and the menu is quite extensive for such a small business. There is enough choice here to satisfy both the vegetarian and hearty meat lover. The daily soups are innovative and delicious, fairly priced, and the service is fast. The desserts are decadent and huge. The filtered water is free, how refreshing is that!

this is an absolute excellent small cafe for both breakfast and lunch. Can't say enough about the owner and chef, Marisa. Drop by and enjoy....
