My favorite spot in the entire city. Fresh and delicious food, great coffee, excellent service, and a delightful location!

The Village is excellent! It's cozy, and the food is superb. The best omelets ever! Highly recommend.

Love the potato latkes! Also, the portions are huge on the Village hash etc, no one I know can finish one!

Amazing food! I missed the Jewish food, in my home-town of Winnipeg, and I've lived here since 1989 always lamenting there was no place to have a blintz or a latka.......and I stumble on this restaurant while running one afternoon. It was closed (which almost brought me to tears at the disappointment) but my running group decided to visit it after a morning run. I drooled at the smoked meat hash, blintzes and latkas. I stuffed myself. Some items are a tad expensive but.....I'm no one to complain! I've got to make up for years of not knowing this place was around so food happiness, paired with top-quality items, is worth a few extra bucks!

Wonderful atmosphere freshly prepared food lots of organic excellent in all respects is a regular with us now. Go for good fun, good atmosphere, great value for money.

Poor value!! The portions are way too small for the price. We left hungry after breakfast and have no intention of returning.

You simply can't beat this restaurant. It is the best restaurant in Victoria, I think. Well, I'm partial to Eggs Benny and they ship in REAL montreal smoked meat for their Eggs Benny. Nice staff, great ambience. But don't tell too many people...
