Hi there, before I ordered mama linda's food today for delivery I read the reviews on this site, I thought to myself this must be a hidden gem I've not heard about in Victoria since I moved here back in 1998. I could not have been more wrong, there was nothing good about the food, the only thing that was good was the woman who answered the phone to take my order.

I ordered 4 lasagnas (2 for 1) and a caesar salad. When they sau=y 2 for 1 it should be 1 for 2, the containers were half full of lasagna, combine two of them to make one order, that was a joke. Adding insult to injury was the savor of the sauce and the noodles and no cheese, talk about being cheap and increasing your profit. I do have to say the garlic toast was awesome, but then again it is hard to mess up garlic toast. I then decided to have the caesar salad after eating only a few bites of the pasta and decided to have the garlic toast with the salad.....I was shocked that it added insult to the injury!!! Who, with any type of cooking skill sends a salad out with rotten lettuce in it? yellow and brown soggy, slimy lettuce, now your probably thinking its from the dressing? Wrong, the dressing were in two plastic ramikins and I did not even apply it to the salad. I just threw it out with the lasagna. My kids only ate a few bites of theirs and I still had to cook supper.

What a waste of $44.00. I wish restaurants were like retail outlets and you can take it back and get a refund and ask them to eat the food they cook.

Never again Mama Linda's, never again.

I have lived in Victoria all my life and eat out often. Mama Lindas has the BEST Popeye chicken burger in the whole city.

We love Mama Linda's pizza! It is conveniently located on our way home from work and is perfect for those days when you don't want to cook. Always very tasty, great sauce and plenty of toppings. These folks are very friendly and always deliver the best product.

YUM, nothing compares to Mama Linda's, this place is the best of the best the food is always delicious, the prices are great and the service is absolutely top-notch. Not only that, but the owners/staff are incredibly friendly and they are always a joy to talk to (can't help but love the family-like atmosphere they provide, it's absolutely WONDERFUL). Mama Linda's is our number one take-out restaurant and we order from there constantly and frequently and we have done so for several years (we were hooked the first time we gave their restaurant a try and haven't looked back since). Heck, with all that delicious food available at such can't beat prices...who could blame us? Mama Linda's ROCKS!!! Yum with a capital Y.

Everytime we choose to order for delivery it is always Mama Lindas. From the chicken burgers, to pizza, to the homemade dips are absolutely delicious. Always consistant with great flavor and the portions are huge. We recommend Mama Lindas to everyone we know. All my family only orders from them!! Keep up the friendly service and yummy food.

I just had the chance to try a Gluten Free pizza from Mama Linda's Pizzeria.
(I moved from Ottawa to Victoria, thanks celiac scene)
I would like to say i could make it better, but NO i can't, and most shops selling pizzas can't!

This is not a dry, hard, tooth breaking item. It has body, texture and most important, it has flavor.

Great pizzas and service! Their thin crust is the closest thing we've found in Victoria to a true European pizza ... where it's all about the delicious toppings and not the dough. Keep up the good work.

Woohoo, fresh gluten free bread in Victoria.
I bough a dozen(not a baker's) dinner rolls and my mouth started to salivate upon picking them up.

Nothing frozen can compare and by far the best i have seen and eaten. Soft and chewy, like REAL bread.
No more frozen section in the market for me.

Friday July 24th 2009 was my wifes birthday and we ordered 4 large pizzas and a gluten free one. i just wanted to say great work.

regular pizzas are fantastic and my wife loved the celiac shell, but her favourite was that it was in an inverted box( how clever.

we ordered a gluten free shell with just sauce and made our pizza at home, this is a fantastic approach to the generic concept.
to everyone who reads this, the shell came out excellent, the instuctions were bang on and i will state that this is the best we have tried so far.

We are so lucky to live near Mama Linda's and we are regular customers. We miss Mama Linda and are glad the restaurant lives on. The food is absolutely the best, the delivery fast, and the food comes super hot. Delicious food and wonderful people.

Looks like Mama Lindas is selling GF pizzas again.........Thank Goodness.

We would like to say that we love their shell, it is by far the best this city has seen. The shell looked, chewed & tasted like no other we have tried.

We were introduced to Mama Linda's food about a year and a half ago and have never looked back. The food is awesome and the staff are fabulous. My husband and I always look forward to our weekly order.

We've also been long time customers and just love their pizza. It's consistently good, on time, and hot. I agree it beats all the other places in town, and they are such nice people. We also feel the pain of losing a mother recently to cancer, and are so sorry for your loss. Our Mama Rita was a loyal customer of Mama Linda's. I hope she makes pizza in heaven )

i want to say that i have eaten gluten free pizza from anyone and possibly everyone. none compare to Mama Lindas!!!
i must warn you that the quantity is low and they will not do this on the week ends so they told me to pre order the day prior and i will be gauranteed stock.

Mama Linda's pizza is amazing compared to Romeo's or Villages. The service is awesome too! You don't have to wait 2 hours for cold pizza when you call for delivery like the other pizza chains in town. Mama Linda's is quick and affordable. We love it!
